J.A. was suffering from a mental health episode and was taken to the hospital to seek help. Based on his medical condition, J.A. struggled to convey what he needed. An aggressive law enforcement officer approached our client and began to interfere with his ability to get the help that he needed. Instead of getting help, before he knew it, the officer had him on the ground and in handcuffs. Instead of seeing a doctor, J.A. ended up in the Gwinnett County Jail. 

Kozycki Law was able to show to the court that a true injustice was done and the State agreed to dismiss all charges against J.A.
